§ Mr. David MitchellLondon Regional Transport estimates that in the current year the cost of cleaning graffiti from Underground trains and structures will be about £750,000 million and that the cost in 1986–87 was about £500,000 million. No estimates are available for 1985–86. The cost of vandalism including graffiti to buses and structures owned by London Buses is estimated to be £1.75 million in 1987–88 and 1986–87, and £1.5 million in 1985–86.
