§ Mr. Waldegrave[holding answer 6 November 1987]: The schemes run by the London boroughs of Brent and Bromley have helped council tenants to buy homes of their own, and released vacancies for the homeless. The results of the studies of the schemes are still being assessed, and it has not yet been decided whether a wider scheme should be proposed.
