HC Deb 06 November 1987 vol 121 c899W
Sir Eldon Griffiths

asked the Secretary of State for Foreign and Commonwealth Affairs whether British visitors to Thailand and Thai visitors to Britain, respectively, are required to obtain visas.

Mr. Eggar

British passport holders may visit Thailand for up to 15 days without a visa provided they are tourists and have on arrival a confirmed onward ticket showing a departure date not exceeding that period. For longer visits, visas must be obtained in advance.

All Thai visitors to the United Kingdom must obtain a visa before travelling.
