§ Mr. Tony Banksasked the Minister of Agriculture, Fisheries and Food how much is owed by his Department to the London residuary body in respect of unsettled Greater London council accounts.
§ Mr. Gummer[holding answer 29 October 1987]: I estimate that further grant aid of approximately £5 million may become payable to the London residuary body in respect of the Thames tidal defence scheme. The precise sum and the timing of payments are dependent upon the submissions to my Department of the information necessary for the verification of claims.
