§ Mr. Cohenasked the Minister for the Arts if he will take steps to provide central funding to the William Morris gallery and museum in Waltham Forest.
§ Mr. Luce[holding answer 2 November 1987]: I am aware that the William Morris gallery and museum contains an interesting and important collection. Primary responsibility for its funding, as a local authority museum, lies with the borough of Waltham Forest, although the museum is eligible also to apply for assistance under grant schemes run by the Museum and Galleries Commission and the Area Museum Service for South-Eastern England.
