HL Deb 03 November 1987 vol 489 c979WA
The Earl of Selkirk

asked Her Majesty's Government:

Whether the new arrangement for servicing the Trident missile will affect the workload at Rosyth Dockyard.

The Minister of State for Defence Procurement (Lord Trefgarne)

There are no new arrangements for servicing the UK Trident missile. The arrangements which were announced in 1982 will not affect the submarine refit activity planned for Rosyth Dockyard.
