§ Mr. Donald ThompsonI attach considerable importance to the system for paying variable premium to sheep farmers in Great Britain: it generates confidence; encourages orderly marketing and the presentation of good quality lambs; and helps producers' cash flow. In the forthcoming negotiations I shall be stressing these points.
