asked the Secretary of State for the Environment if he will publish the figures from form ACCR 86/87, showing for each local authority (a) total accumulated capital receipts and (b) cash-backed accumulated receipts at 31 March.

Returns from local authorities for 1986–87 are currently being received and analysed. When the information is complete, I will place the figures in the Library of the House.
