§ Mr. Peter MorrisonMy right hon. Friend met M r. Burke, the Irish Energy Minister, on 16 September when they discussed nuclear and gas matters. My hon. Friend the Parliamentary Under-Secretary of State represented the United Kingdom at an informal meeting of Energy Ministers in Denmark on 20 and 21 September. Discussion centred on energy efficiency, new and renewable sources of energy and the interaction between energy and the environment as addressed in the Brundtland report.
