HC Deb 02 November 1987 vol 121 c523W
Dr. Hampson

asked the Minister for the Civil Service if there are any proposals to change the 1987–88 running costs limit for the Office of the Minister for the Civil Service.

Mr. Luce

Subject to parliamentary approval of the necessary Supplementary Estimate, the running costs limit for the office of the Minister for the Civil Service (class XX, vote 1) will be reduced by £803,000 from £29,697,000 to £28,894,000. This decrease will be offset by a corresponding increase in the running costs limit for the Economic and Financial Administration (HM Treasury) vote (class XIX, vote 11) and results from the changes in the distribution of functions between the central Departments announced by the Prime Minister on 7 August 1987.
