HC Deb 02 November 1987 vol 121 cc570-1W
Mr. Simon Coombs

asked the Secretary of State for Social Services what representations he has received from organisations or individuals on the plight of those infected with the AIDS virus as a result of treatment under the NHS, and what plans he has to respond to requests for assistance with the cost of treatment, including travel expenses.

Mr. Newton

We have received approximately 200 written representations from individuals and organisations on this issue. All the facilities of the NHS are available to those who have been infected with HIV. Help
