Expenditure incurred during 1986–87 upon heating fuel, gas and electricity for properties in the Lord Chancellor's Department was £3,250,952. This does not include properties where the cost of heating and lighting is included in the rent, for which information is not available. Details of the amounts spent on energy efficiency measures are not held centrally and could only be provided at disproportionate costs.
