§ Mr. Kirkwoodasked the Secretary of State for Scotland if he will publish in the Official Report the total amount of rebates paid in each regional authority area in Scotland to ratepayers who are eligible for relief on their rates bills under the legislation passed after the 1985 revaluation.
§ Mr. AncramThe information for 1985–86 and 1986–87 is set out in the table. Figures for each region for 1987–88 are not yet available. It is estimated that total rebates for Scotland for that year will amount to about £13.7 million.
