asked Her Majesty's Government:

Whether they will make a statement on the Government's initial report to the United Nations due under Article 18 of the 1979 Convention on the elimination of all forms of discrimination against women.

The report is being finalised and will shortly be submitted to the United Nations Secretary-General. Copies will be placed in the Library as soon as possible.
