§ Mr. RidleyI regard the so-called referendum undertaken by Basildon district council as misconceived and a waste of ratepayers' money. I shall reach a decision on future ownership when the tenants have been properly consulted by the Commission for the New Towns on detailed proposes for alternative landlords.
