§ Mr. John PattenOn 15 December 1986 my right hon. Friend gave Trafford borough council notice, under section 99 of the Local Government, Planning and Land Act 1980, of his intention to direct it to sell a 0.85 hectare piece of land it owns off Newcroft drive, Urmston. The council has made representations and these are being carefully considered. A decision will be announced in the near future.
