§ Mr. McCrindleasked the Secretary of State for Social Services if he will have discussions with representatives of the Royal Association in Aid of Deaf People regarding core funding; and if he will make a statement.
§ Mr. LyellOfficials from the Department met representatives of the association in November to discuss its application for a grant. I regret that in the light of those discussions we decided that funding would not be appropriate, and the association has been informed accordingly.
