§ Mr. GummerPayments generally are now being made more promptly by the Republic of Ireland authorities, but there are still some monetary compensatory amount claims under query for which payments have been outstanding for some time. It is hoped that measures taken as a result of the useful discussions my officials have had with officials from the Republic of Ireland will enable these payments also to be released before long.
