§ Sir Brandon Rhys Williamsasked the Secretary of State for Social Services if he will publish figures for the latest date available, showing the average annual number of people in receipt of each of the following benefits, distinguishing in each case between claimants, adult dependants and child dependants: national insurance unemployement benefit, sickness benefit, invalidity, widows and retirement pensions, non-contributory invalidity pension and supplementary benefit without any national insurance benefit; and if he will estimate the corresponding figures for 1987–88.
