§ Mr. John Browneasked the Secretary of State for Social Services whether he will consider increasing the funding to the National Schizophrenia Fellowship from £80,000 to £250,000.
§ Mrs. CurrieOur current grant to the National Schizophrenia Fellowship will finish on 31 March 1987. An application for a renewal grant was received on 16 February and is under consideration. It is highly unlikely that we shall be able to meet the Fellowship's request for a more than threefold increase in our financial support, even in the knowledge of the good work the organisation carries out. We shall let them have our decision as soon as we are able.
