§ Mr. NeedhamDoctors who have obtained their primary medical qualifications in the Republic of Ireland who are nationals of member states of the European Community other than the United Kingdom and have completed a pre-registration house officer year are eligible for appointment to principal general practice posts in Northern Ireland. United Kingdom nationals who obtained their primary medical qualifications in the Republic of Ireland must be vocationally trained for three years to be eligible for appointment to principal general practitioner posts in Northern Ireland.
