§ Dr. McDonaldasked the Chancellor of the Exchequer (1) if he will update to 1987–88 the information on tax and national insurance contributions provided in his reply of 30 January to the hon. Member for Thurrock, Official Report, columns 413–16;
(2) if he will update to 1987–88 the information on tax and national insurance contributions as a proportion of gross earnings provided in his reply of 19 February to the hon. Member for Oldham, West (Mr. Meacher), Official Report, column 829; and if he will provide the same information for a married man with an earning wife;
(3) if he will update, to take account of the 1987 Budget, the information on tax and national insurance provided in his reply of 9 April 1986 to the hon. Member for Thurrock, columns 124–25.
