§ Mr. Newton[pursuant to his reply, 23 March 1987, c. 77]: Information on the number of consultant medical staff in each region in England, and on the number of units of management, is given in the table. However the definition of a unit of management varies from district to district and the figures for different regions are therefore not directly comparable.
