§ Lord BelsteadGrants are made by the Arts Council and Regional Arts Associations for the following magazines, journals and literary works and to organisations publishing a variety of these items.
Allocations are made according to the literary merit of the product and the contribution it makes to a particular art form; they take into account relevance to the regions' local documentary or oral traditions and the need to foster new writers.
