§ Mr. Michael Brownasked the Secretary of State for Northern Ireland if he will publish in the Official Report the recital in the introductory part of the conveyance under which the Department of Health and Social Services holds the Sir Thomas and Lady Edith Dixon hospital, Cairndhu, Larne, Northern Ireland.
§ Mr. NeedhamThe recital is as follows
And whereas the Donors have agreed to convey to the Ministry [now the Department of Health and Social Services] the lands hereditaments and premises known as "Cairndhu" hereinafter more particularly described for use as a 658W Convalescent Home or Hospital said Convalescent Home or Hospital to be known as 'The Sir Thomas and Lady Edith Dixon Hospital'".

§ Mr. NeedhamThe conveyance under which the Department of Health and Social Services holds the Sir Thomas and Lady Edith Dixon hospital does not contain a declaration of trust in express terms. However, doubts have arisen as to the effect of the introductory recital and the matter is being referred to the Chancery court in Northern Ireland for a ruling.
