§ Mr. ScottLike all aspects of the prison regime in Northern Ireland, the current arrangements for remission of sentences and the accompanying conditional release scheme are kept under regular review. It is Government policy that as far as possible there is no distinction made between the treatment of prisoners convicted of scheduled offences and those convicted of non-scheduled offences.
