§ Mr. WaldegraveTrichlorotrifluoromethane (CFC 113) is used as a speciality solvent. Neither United Kingdom production figures nor import statistics are available for trichlorotrifluoromethane, and I cannot therefore quantify the usage of this material with any precision. However, extrapolation from European Community data suggests that no more than about 200 tonnes of this material is contained in the residues from solvent recovery which arise annually in the United Kingdom for disposal by incineration or landfil.
