§ Mr. Ron Daviesasked the Minister of Agriculture, Fisheries and Food if he will make it his policy that, in the event of a breach of a management agreement in an environmentally sensitive area, which results in damage to wildlife habitats, he will require the land to be restored to its former condition.

He will note that key prescriptions are not amenable to the approach which he suggests. For example there is no practical means of remedying a breach of a prohibition on herbicide use.
