§ Mrs. RumboldSeveral hundred individuals and organisations have contacted the city technology college unit since the publication of "A New Choice of School". Many of these have expressed interest in assisting with the establishment of colleges, whether financially or in other ways. In addition to the £1 million in sponsorship offered by Hanson Trust, several other individuals and organisations have expressed a willingness to provide funding. Some of these offers are conditional or subject to discussion, and I am not prepared to confirm offers until sponsors are ready to make their decision public.
