§ Mr. Lordasked the Secretary of State for Foreign and Commonwealth Affairs if he will make a statement on the United Kingdom's diplomatic relations with Saudi Arabia.
§ Mr. RentonRelations with Saudi Arabia are better than at any time in the past. The Prince and Princess of Wales paid a highly successful visit to the Kingdom last November and already this year my right hon. Friends the Secretary of State for Defence and the Secretary of State for Trade and Industry and I myself have visited Saudi Arabia. We are all looking forward to the state visit of King Fahd later this month.
