§ 31. Mr. Eadieasked the Secretary of State for Scotland what plans there are for developing nursery school training and qualifications at Moray house college of education; and what specific funding is being provided.
§ Mr. John MacKayIn common with other colleges of education Moray house offers a range of pre-service and in-service courses which include training for work in nursery schools. The development of such traning is in the first instance a matter for the governing body. At present, the college receives specific funding to meet the running costs of its own nursery school. That funding will be withdrawn from the end of June this year, bringing Moray house into line with other colleges of education.
