§ Mr. Merlyn Reesasked the Secretary of State for the Home Department what proportion of the houses in multiple occupation in Leeds are inspected for fire precautions.
§ Mr. Douglas HoggI understand from the west Yorkshire fire service that it has inspected about 10 per cent. of the estimated number of houses in multiple occupation in Leeds, and that most of these inspections have been carried out in response to requests from the city council as housing authority.
