§ Q26. Mr. Wigleyasked the Prime Minister what representations were made to her at her recent meeting with representatives of pensioners' organisations; and how the Government will be responding to these representations.
§ The Prime MinisterI met a delegation from the National Pensioners' Convention steering committee on Thursday 5 March. They made representations with regard to the level of the basic pension, and the various other benefits and services available to pensioners. These will be considered and I will be writing to the National Pensioners' Convention in due course.
