§ Mr. NewtonA working party set up by the chief medical officer has recently examined the secretarial and support services for hospital medical staff and made a number of recommendations. Its report has been sent to health authorities, with a view to encouraging them to look at ways of improving the working environment and career structure of medical secretaries.
