§ Mr. NewtonBefore the launch of the current three year initiative, waiting lists and times were discussed with some regional health authorities as part of the annual review process. As with all other subjects considered in these reviews, regions might be required to take specific action which would be followed up by the National Health Service management board as a matter of course.
