§ Mr. Kirkwoodasked the Secretary of State for Social Services (1) if he will make a statement on the proposed disbandment of the Health Education Council's advisory groups;
(2) if he will make a statement on the proposed abolition of the joint advisory committee on nutritional education.
§ Mr. NewtonThe joint advisory committee on nutrition education, like the other advisory committees and groups set up by the Health Education Council, will automatically cease to exist when the council comes to an end on 31 March. It will be for the new Health Education Authority to determine the source of any specialist professional advice it may require.
