§ Mrs. Currie[pursuant to her reply, 4 March 1987, c. 625–26]: I regret that information in not available in the exact form requested as period of gestation is not collected at the registration of live births. However, birthweight may be taken as an indicator of gestational age, and the tables show data which have been derived by linking each infant death record to its corresponding birth recor, for birthweights below 2,500 g.
