HC Deb 09 March 1987 vol 112 c3W
Mr. Wigley

asked the Secretary of State for Wales if he will introduce a compensation scheme to recompense angling clubs for restocking costs arising from the Chernobyl disaster and for the loss of amenity suffered by these clubs.

Mr. Wyn Roberts

The levels of radioactivity in fish as a result of the Chernobyl accident are such that considerations of restocking, loss of amenity or compensation do not arise.
