§ Mr. John PattenThe housing investment programme allocations made to Leicester city council for 1979–80 and 1986–87 were £20,524 million and £13.2 million respectively. In 1986–87, unlike 1979–80, the council has also been able to make use of capital receipts to increase its capital expenditure.
