asked the Secretary of State for the Home Department what action he will take in response to the report of the local prison visitors on Dartmoor prison; and if he will make a statement.

My noble Friend is giving careful consideration to the 1986 report of the Dartmoor prison board of visitors and will be writing to the chairman of the board in due course.
