§ The Parliamentary Under-Secretary of State, Department of Trade and Industry (Lord Lucas of Chilworth)Her Majesty's Government has no plans for such a study. The potentially serious consequences of computer error and failure are already well recognised, and increasing attention is being given to practical means of minimising the risks.
