§ Mr. John PattenProvision for the urban programme (including urban development grant and urban regeneration grant) in 1987–88 is £324 million, compared with £317 million in 1986–87. This is a reduction of 1.5 per cent. in real terms. Provision for the urban group of programmes as a whole, however, (including urban development corporations and derelict land grant) is increased by £54 million, or an increase of 7.3 per cent. in real terms.
