§ Mr. Ralph Howellasked the Secretary of State for Social Services if he will calculate the total annual cost and the average annual cost of full-time equivalent posts in the National Health Service and local government; and if he will break down the average cost for a full-time equivalent post into pay, national insurance, superannuation, and other costs such as office space, heating, lighting, and so on, for each of the years 1982–83, 1983–84, 1984–85 and 1985–86.
