When the report commissioned by the Department of Health and Social Security on the supply and use of home equipment issued to temporarily or permanently disabled people in the community will be published or made available to the agencies ready to co-operate in its implementation

The NHS Scrutiny Programme report on anInvestigation Into the Supply and Use of Home Equipment Loaned to Temporarily and Permanently Disabled People in the Community is under active consideration within the department, which is consulting the local authority associations. A decision on the publication of the report will be made when all comments have been received.
