asked the Secretary of State for Defence whether the design of hardened aircraft shelters to be constructed at RAF Stornoway permits cross-servicing of United States tactical combat aircraft.

This would depend upon aircraft size and logistics requirements.

Mr. Macdonald

asked the Secretary of State for Defence (1) what consideration has been given to the re-establishment of electronic countermeasures monitoring range facilities at RAF Stornoway;

(2) what consideration has been given to the re-establishment of a radar bomb-scoring unit at RAF Stornoway.
