Mr. Corbett

asked the Secretary of State for Defence whether he will list those countries (a) which currently receive military training assistance and (b) whose applications for such assistance are currently being considered.

[pursuant to his reply, 23 July 1987]: It is not our practice to reveal discussions between Her Majesty's Government and foreign Governments about future training possibilities. The list of countries which were provided with military training assistance in the financial year 1986–87 is as follows:
