HC Deb 24 July 1987 vol 120 c572W
Mr. Robertson

asked the Secretary of State for Foreign and Commonwealth Affairs what action he intends to take about the Iranian arms procurement office at 4 Victoria Street, London SW1, in the light of the vote of the United Nations Security Council calling for a ceasefire between Iran and Iraq.

Mr. Mellor

We do not believe any action concerning the Iranian military procurement offices in London is appropriate in the light of the recent Security Council resolution on Iran/Iraq. We are supporting the United Nations Secretary-General's attempts to ensure compliance with the resolution.
