§ Mr. LilleyThe available information relating to net investment by overseas residents in United Kingdom government and other securities since 1979 is given in the 1986 edition of the "United Kingdom Balance of Payments" (the CSO Pink Book) and inEconomic Trends for June 1987, copies of which are in the Library. The relevant Pink Book tables are 8.2 (direct investment), 8.3 (portfolio investment) and 8.6 (short-term government securities). The corresponding Economic Trends tables are 9, 10 and 13.
