Mr. Key

asked the Secretary of State for Foreign and Commonwealth Affairs if he will list the number of foreign nationals who have come to Britain under the Overseas Development Administration technical co-operation training programme in each year of its operation and the cost per annum in real terms to the United Kingdom.

The information is given in the following table. Figures on a consistent basis are available from 1976 to 1986. Expenditure in each year covers new arrivals and those still on course from previous year(s).
