§ Mr. Cabornasked the Secretary of State for Foreign and Commonwealth Affairs whether the statement made by Her Majesty's ambassador to South Africa on a visit to Windhoek, Namibia, on 2 June, that the South African administration in Namibia is a meaningful development on the road to independence provided that it becomes a means of obtaining internationally recognised independence for the region, represents Government policy.
